Come and freely discuss your poetry, a short story, a letter to an editor or a chapter from your magnum opus!

As OWN's Creative Writers' Group, we are a group of about fifteen women who have been writing all our lives and who want to share the results of that passion in a warm and supportive environment. Your work is gently critiqued and newcomers are always welcomed.

When we have accumulated enough material to do so, we put together a chapbook, which becomes a publication for yourself, your friends, and OWN's, to be sold and distributed at our various functions. The chapbook comes together every eight months or so.

We meet bi-monthly - about six times a year - the first Wednesday of every other month.
